The enforcement division of the SEC has reportedly notified that it is closing its investigation on Ethereum 2.0. This decision follows a letter sent by Consensys on June 7, asking the SEC to confirm that the ETH ETF approvals in May, which were based on Ether being a commodity, meant that the agency would close its Ethereum 2.0 investigation.
